Hey, all!  I gotta say, things have been pretttttty great here in my neck of the woods.  My husband is back home after being gone for a month, everyone I love is relatively healthy, I’m not having a mental breakdown, I mean…what more can a girl ask for? Yep, life is good (immediately knocks on all the wood). 

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love quotes.  They make me happy. It is comforting to see someone put into words exactly how I am feeling at any given moment.  It means someone else has had these feelings, good or bad, lived through them, loved through them, laughed through them, or cried through them.     

Anyway, since I am currently in a good mood and Valentine’s Day is just around the corner I thought I’d share some of my favorite quotes about love.

Valentine’s Day is kind of funny because it tends to be more about my kids than my husband.  I realize I sound like one of those wives who doesn’t realize she is on the brink of divorce, but seriously, he isn’t much of a Valentine’s guy and I guess I’m not much of a Valentine’s girl. (shrug)

I am, however, a theme-loving girl. Man, I really do love a good theme!  I find so much joy in picking out holiday-themed treats and holiday-themed projects to do with my kids. I know someday they won’t be excited to decorate paper hearts or make red & pink sprinkle cookies with me, so I intend to soak it up while I can!
