Last Friday my little brother got married in a sweet little ceremony at my house.  It was simple, intimate, and perfectly lovely.  So, in honor of the one-week anniversary, this week’s Friday Five is all about relationship advice and funny quotes about marriage. 

Marriage and relationship advice is so interesting.  It varies so greatly depending on who you are talking to, but also the definition of a good marriage varies greatly as well!

You’ve got the old standby advice, like “Never go to bed angry” or “Never stop dating your spouse” to the slightly less obvious, slightly less serious “Always rinse your wine glass before putting it in the sink” which was shared with me by my mother-in-law (This is so funny to me because she doesn’t drink at all – maybe that’s why she has stayed married for over 50 years?!).
