Hi friends! I’m back with another set of printable playdough mats. I’m a playdough mat addict at this point. They are just so cute and fun! I think I enjoy playing with them as much as my kids do! So, be prepared for a set of playdough mats for every single holiday. Consider yourself warned.
Since it is, in fact, the most wonderful time of the year, this set is all about Christmas! I’ve got Santa, and Christmas trees, and stockings, and presents. Twelve pages of Christmas fun! As with all playdough mats I highly suggest you laminate the pages or put them in a large Ziploc bag when you use them. Doing so will protect them from the moisture in the playdough and keep them from ripping. These self-adhesive laminating sheets are easy to use.
I’m so excited for you to get your hands on these FREE Christmas playdough mats. Let me know what you think in the comments below! Happy Holidays!!

Benefits of Playdough
Not many kids need convincing when it comes to playing with playdough. However, you might be surprised to know that playing with playdough has a lot of benefits in addition to being fun!
Develops fine motor skills. All the squishing, pinching, rolling, and flattening are good for hand development.
Encourages Creativity. Playdough can become anything!
Hand-Eye Coordination. Tools, such as rolling pins and cookie cutters, are often involved in play dough playtime.
It’s Calming.

Homemade Playdough recipe
You can find playdough at the store or online for a super reasonable price, especially around the holidays. A combo pack like this can last for months! However, sometimes it’s fun to make your own!
Here is my favorite homemade playdough recipe. When we make this playdough, it takes me back to my childhood because this is the exact same recipe my mom used to make and the same recipe my preschool used. The smell, the texture, everything! I love it!
