Hi, Friends! If you are anything like me, “family movie night” is a pretty regular occurrence. Movie nights are especially common during these cold (and dark) winter months! I don’t struggle as much with being cooped inside in the winter as I do with the darkness! Mama needs some sunlight! A silver lining is that it gives me more time to snuggle up and watch a movie with my kids.
When my kids were toddlers they didn’t have the attention span for an entire movie. I remember being so excited when we were able to watch a movie from start to finish. Such a milestone! Our first favorites were Zootopia and Hotel Transylvania. We watched those movies over, and over, and over again.
Now, we have cycled through LOTS of favorite movies, which is both fun and a little sad. Fun because we are able to dabble in all sorts of movies from Grant and I’s childhood and it’s fun to relive those movies with our own kids. Sad because it means my babies are growing up!!
Okay, stop it right there! We are not going down the road of nostalgia and sadness. That is not the reason for this post. I’ll save that for another day.
Today I am sharing a bunch of great movies to watch with your kids! Hopefully this will give you a little inspiration for your next family movie night!
