Hi, friends!! Halloween is right around the corner and I am so excited about it! The final touches to our Halloween decor will be completed this weekend. I’m hoping to make a post about all the spooky cute things we have going on over here, but we will see how that goes.
A fun Halloween tradition the kids and I have been loving is “Boo’ing” our friends and neighbors. Are you familiar with what it means to “Boo” someone? It’s a relatively new Halloween trend where people secretely leave cute little surprises for friends and neighbors with a sign that says “You’ve Been Boo’d“.

How To "Boo" Your Neighbor
If you don’t understand what “Boo’ing” someone means, fear not! I would never leave you hanging like that!
How to Boo
- First things first, print the “You’ve Been Boo’d” sign. Print as many signs as neighbors you want to Boo.
- Put together the Halloween goodie bags. The bag can be any size, shape, or color. In fact, it doesn’t have to be a bag at all. It could just be a candy bar or another prepackaged treat!
- Place the sign and the treat on your neighbor’s doorstop without them seeing you.
- Your neighbor(s) will make a copy of the “You’ve Been Boo’d” sign. They will hang the “We’ve Been Boo’d” portion on their door so that other people in the neighborhood will know they have already recevied a Halloween treat. The sign on your door is help everyone in the neighborhood get Boo’d and not just a couple houses over and over again.

Like I said earlier, the content of the bag doesn’t matter as much as the act of receiving the bag. It’s the thought that counts, ya feel me?
