Hi, friends!! Our Elf on the Shelf, “Elfie,” has been busy over at our house these past few days! We lucked out with our elf because he likes to mix up his behavior. Some nights he is a bit naughty, while other nights he is calm and laid back. He keeps us on our toes, that’s for sure!!
It’s hard to believe when I look at what my life has become. Back in my pre-parenthood days, I swore up and down that I would absolutely never have an Elf on the Shelf. I thought they were creepy and too over-the-top. I just didn’t get it.
Fast forward almost a decade and I’ve got this darn elf on my mind 24/7. It shouldn’t be too surprising though. Pretty much everything I swore I wouldn’t do as a parent (ya know, before I actually became a parent) I now do. Co-sleeping. Screen time. Junk food. I’m just trying to walk that line between thriving and surviving these days!
Anyway, I thought it would be fun to share a few of the simple Elf on the Shelf ideas I’ve had this year. As I said, our elf likes to keep us guessing.
