My son recently lost his very first tooth! Honestly, I can’t believe it took as long as it did. That poor little tooth had been wiggly for at least a week!
Even though I knew this day was coming, suddenly I had to figure out the whole tooth fairy situation. I mean, what the tooth fairy does tonight will determine what he/she does for the rest of the little baby teeth that will be falling out for the next several years! Talk about pressure!
Turns out parents are really killing the tooth fairy game out there. I found so many fun tooth fairy ideas, each one more creative than the next!
If you are like me and embarking on your tooth fairy journey, I got you! Here are some of the best tooth fairy ideas I found.

1. Glitter Money
This is what I thought the tooth fairy was going to do for us, but it didn’t work out. My guess is that spray adhesive glitter like this works best in this situation, but I don’t know. All I do know is that this has the potential to be a big fail…not that I am speaking from experience or anything.
2. Gold Coin
What is more exciting than reaching under your pillow and finding a REAL gold coin left by the tooth fairy?! The only drawback to the gold coin idea is that they aren’t redeemable at your local toy store. However, you could offer to cash them in at the bank for your kiddo, so that he/she can spend the money.
3. Special $2
Check with your local bank to see their policy on $2 bills. Some have them readily available while others have minimum order amounts.
Losing a tooth is special and so is a $2!
4. Tooth Receipts
Tooth Receipts are such a cute idea PLUS they give one last “tooth health” status to hopefully encourage better brushing!
5. Origami Money
A creative way to display the tooth fairy’s delivery is by folding it into fun shapes, like a heart!
6. Fairy Door
Invite the tooth fairy into your home by setting up this sweet little fairy door before your child goes to bed. How precious is this?!?
7. Tooth Pillow
There are so many adorably creative tooth pillows out there! You can go with the traditional pillow or a little more funky. Either way, the tooth fairy loves an easy-to-locate tooth!
8. Tooth Fairy Bag
This Tooth Fairy Bag makes it easy to find those tiny teeth under your child’s pillow while also doubling as a cute keepsake.
Do you save your child’s teeth or do you throw them away? I don’t know what is the right thing to do, but I do know that if you are planning on saving all the teeth that this Baby Tooth Boxis perfect!
Excellent ideas you have shared on tooth fairy but i have a question that What Does the Tooth Fairy Do with the Teeth? in the article.
Thanks!! Have your kids asked what the tooth fairy does with all those teeth?
yes my kid was very curious about tooth fairy. But he wants to know about how long does teething last?
