All about me
Hi! I'm Julie...
Julie Lively that is. I’m 30 something-year-old wife and mom. I live in southern Indiana with my husband, our 2 kids, 2 cats, and our dog.
I want to encourage people of all ages to find ways to have fun while balancing life’s demands. I deliver blogs and other resources that provide ideas and encouragement to help make life easier and more enjoyable. I totally understand the struggle of working full time, taking care of a household (and all of the living things within the household), while also wanting to lead a “Pinterest-worthy” life.
When I am not working my 8-5 gig I am home either playing with my kids or working on some sort of project around the house. I like to unwind by lighting a candle and watching any of the TV shows where the family somehow ended up with lots and lots of kids (I’m looking at you, TLC).
I am a recovering black thumb gardener. I have now kept all of my plants alive for 2 whole seasons (go me!). I am probably more proud about this than any regular person should be. My new love of yard work has also unearthed my extreme allergy to poison ivy. I am fairly certain I had a poison ivy rash more often than not over the past year.
I hope to inspire others to be unapologetically authentic. Please join me on my quest to embrace the chaos, find the beauty in the mess, and attempt to satisfy my strong desire to be a little “extra”.
