Happy Friday, y’all!! Who is excited for the 3-day weekend?? This girl is, I can tell you that!
For this Friday Five, I wanted to share a few (or five) easy, kid-friendly Memorial Day snacks. Get your red, white, and blue sprinkles ready and head to the kitchen!!
Kid-Friendly Memorial Day Snacks
Patriotic Ice Cream Sandwich
Let’s start with the easiest Memorial Day snack first. These patriotic ice cream sandwiches couldn’t be more simple. I stuck a popsicle stick in them to make them a little easier to handle, plus I don’t like how the cookie part sticks to your fingers when you are eating it. Next, pour some red, white, and blue sprinkles onto a plate and dip your sandwich into the sprinkles.
Simple, patriotic, and delicious!
Firecracker Marshmallow
How cute are these Firecracker Marshmallows? They are made up of my daughter’s favorite things: marshmallows, chocolate, and maraschino cherries. Head on over to Kid-Friendly Things To Do for full instructions on how to make these cute patriotic treats.
Red, White, and Blue M&M Sugar Cookies
Another perfectly patriotic Memorial Day snack includes these M&M sugar cookies from Crazy For Crust! What I love most about these is how versatile they are. Switch up the M&M colors and you can make these for just about any holiday or celebration. Also, who doesn’t like a good sugar cookie?
Celebrate Red, White, and Blue Drink
My kids are going to flip when I make this Captain America-inspired drink for them. Made with cherry 7-up, Pina Colada mix, and blueberry Kool Aid it is sure to be sweet and delicious! Head on over to This Worthey Life for the full recipe!
No Bake Summer Berry Lasagna
The last Memorial Day snack is a little more involved, but the final result is worth it! Just look at this amazing no bake summer berry lasagna! I’d say this dish is the definition of perfectly patriotic! You can find all the details and full recipe over at OMG Chocolate Desserts.
