Wreath Made Of Leaves: Easy Fall Craft Project

Wreath Made Of Leaves: Easy Fall Craft Project

Happy September 1st, everyone! Cooler weather is finally here, fall is in the air, and I am here for it!

I don’t care what anyone says, September 1st is the first day of fall.   This is the hill I am willing to die on.

Now, what better way to kick off the first day of fall than a cuper cute, super simple fall craft project?!   Today I’m sharing my favorite fall craft from last year, a wreath made of leaves!  This fall leaf wreath is so unique and turns out so beautiful every time!

I can hardly wait for the leaves to start falling so I can make one for every exterior door of my house.  I think this could also be a beautiful centerpiece on a dining room table.

This project is surprisingly long-lasting too.  Mine lasted on our back door up until I took it down in January because I was sick of looking at it.  It still looked just as nice as the day I assembled it.  You won’t find a less expensive craft that looks so lovely.

It feels criminal how easy this fall craft is to do.  All you need to make a cute fall wreath is a wire hanger, leaves, and a bow.  That’s it.  It’s practically free.

Wire hangers are becoming less and less common, but you can almost always find one at any yard sale, church rummage sale, thrift shop, etc.  You may have to purchase the $1 shirt that comes with it, but it is still totally worth it.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE

Once you have gathered your supplies (wire hanger, leaves, and a bow) you are ready to begin assmebling your fall leaf wreath.

Begin by bending the wire hanger to form a circle.  This will be the shape of your final product.  Leave the hook part in tact.  You will use this to hang your wreath.

Next, begin sliding leaves onto the wire hanger.  You don’t have to pre-cut holes or anything like that, just pop the leaves right on.  You will go through A LOT of leaves.

Once your wreath form (wire hanger) is full of beautiful leaves, attach the ends together to complete the circle.  Secure the bow at the top to hide the handle.  Voila.  A beautiful, inexpensive wreath that will impress everyone that comes to your door!
