Friday Five: Amazing Perennials That Attract Butterflies
Happy Friday everyone!! I can’t even tell you how much I have been enjoying watching all the butterflies fly around our yard. The presence of butterflies, birds, and bees make a garden feel so alive and magical. I love it!
Today I am sharing five perennials I have in my garden that attract butterflies. This is not a complete list of the plants butterflies love. I just wanted to share a few of the plants I noticed butterflies on the most.
It’s not too late to get these perennials planted and rooted in before the frost. If you get them in the ground now your plant will be that much more established by next summer. More established means bigger and better performance by the plant. Bigger and better means more blooms. More blooms means more pollinators. You get the picture, right?!
The beauty of having plenty of perennials in your garden is that these plants will bring their beauty year after year. Remember, perennials come back every year while annuals need to be replanted each year.
Also, another fun way to bring butterflies into your garden is through this butterfly garden kit! Our whole family enjoyed watching these butterflies change from caterpillars to butterflies!
